Only well-experienced craftsmen are able to make TOHKA Wine and Champagne cups with stems that are beautifully and slenderly turned and shaped to the utmost limit, with a thinly polished lip of the cup.
A seamless, durable, glass-thin wine glass was created by a processing technique called "Takidori" that does not go against the direction in which the tree grows.
Made of Betula grossa, a hard wood known as a high-class material with good workability due to its elasticity.
This cup bring out the mellow aroma and taste of champagne.
All products of GATO MIKIO uses wood turning techniques called "Kijibiki", by which logs carved into products while rotating the wood‐turning lath.
